I love songs that fall into the ‘forgotten banger’ category, or anything outside of what’s expected for a band. My favourites for The Party Fettlers are ‘Love Story’ by Taylor Swift and ‘The Best’ by Tina Turner.

How does performing at weddings differ from other events, and what do you enjoy most about it?

Weddings are such personal occasions and each one is so different, so the variety really keeps it interesting! It’s a real honour to be part of such a memorable day for a couple, something that they’ll talk about for years to come.

What advice would you give to couples looking to incorporate live music into their wedding?

I would say that, it’s your wedding day, do it your way! You should incorporate live music that reflects the two of you as a couple and your personality, as well as music that suits your guests, and your venue. Here at Musique, we’re delighted to create performances that do just that.

How do you adapt your performance to suit the unique vibe and style of each wedding?

As a live vocalist, reading the room is everything. The venue’s vibe, the energy of the guests, and the couple’s song choices all guide my performance. These details may seem subtle, but they’re crucial for creating a personal, seamless experience that matches the unique energy of the day.
