Chelsi and Chris tied the knot back in 2022 after 18 months of wedding planning and preparation. Musique were by their side throughout the process to offer help and support when it came to selecting their perfect musical entertainment.
The pair married at the All Saints Church before moving on to their reception at The Liner Hotel in Liverpool, Merseyside.
From early in her planning, Chelsi had an idea of the kind of musical entertainment she would be looking for on her wedding day, and there was one thing that mattered most…
She said: “I knew I wanted something that everyone could enjoy, so wanted someone who could do a variety of different music. I wanted someone who would have everyone on the dance floor from the minute they started.”
But finding a band with a universal appeal on their own proved difficult.
It can often be hard to cater to everyone’s varied tastes and likes and dislikes, especially when you have a guest list of over 150 people like Chelsi and Chris did.
Chelsi added: “It was just [hard] trying to find someone you think everyone will like and enjoy.”
When Chelsi came across Musique, she knew she’d be able to find a wedding musician with universal appeal.
Speaking about how she found Musique, Chelsi said: “I actually found them through Google. Then I started looking on the website and at first glance, I knew I’d find someone as there’s a range of different artists and bands.”

Speaking about her experience with Musique’s team, Chelsi said: “They were always amazing. Everyone got back to us straight away and helped us through the process. They knew exactly what we were looking for and were always there to answer questions I had and to see if our band was okay with the music we wanted in the church.”
Having taken a look at Musique’s exclusive collection of musicians online before reaching out, Chelsi and Chris had been able to narrow down their musical choices and had a clear picture of the direction they’d like to take their entertainment.
Chelsi said: “We pretty much knew from the website who we wanted and as soon as I spoke to Arthur he agreed when telling him what we were looking for. Then later on when we were looking for a singer for the church he recommended the same singer from the band and sent me some videos to watch.”
Chelsi and Chris booked The Tonics to play at both their wedding ceremony and evening reception as a duo and five-piece band respectively.
Chelsi’s top priority in booking her musical wedding entertainment had been to keep all 150+ guests happy, entertained, and wanting to dance.
When asked about how her musicians were received on the day, she said: “Really good! The band was so lovely and the church was just how I imagined.
“Then in the nighttime, they didn’t disappoint everyone was up dancing. Everyone loved them. The music was such a good variety. Everyone was up dancing all night which is all I wanted.”
Chelsi and Chris scored their experience with Musique and The Tonics as a 10/10.
