Jemma and Joe spent 18 months planning their wedding, which took place in May 2023. The couple got married at Hobbit Hill in Clitheroe, Lancashire.
From the beginning, the couplehad a clear idea of what they were looking for from their wedding entertainment.
It was of the utmost importance to both Jemma and Joe that their entertainment catered to all of their guests.
They explained: “We wanted a band that could play a variety of music meaning that there would be at least one song that people would recognise and get up to dance to.”
The couple first heard of Musique through a friend. It was then after they saw their (soon-to-be) musicians playing at a wedding fair that they knew they had to book.
Jemma and Joe opted for The Party Fettlers to play at their wedding.
When asked about what drew them to The Party Fettlers as their choice of wedding band, Jemma and Joe explained it was down to the band’s diverse repertoire, which catered to their desire to provide music for everyone.
They said: “Most wedding bands seem to have the exact same playlist of the typical cheesy wedding songs and that just isn’t our style.”
The Party Fettlers bring energy and fun to their performances, no matter the occasion.
Starting with a mix of soul and swing classics, the band gets into the groove and brings the audience along for the ride. They perform a range of pop music from the 70s to modern chart music. This was just what Jemma and Joe had been looking for.

Talking about the process of booking their wedding entertainment with Musique, Jemma and Joe said: “Booking through Musique was really straightforward and clear.
“We knew exactly what we were getting and questions were answered without any issues.
“The short reels on the website and social media pages make choosing a musician really easy. You can see the types of things they play and the vibe they would bring to your event.”
Throughout the planning process, Jemma and Joe wanted to ensure that their guests would feel involved in their big day. It was important to them that they could create long-lasting memories together.
Speaking about their experience with The Party Fettlers on the night, Jemma and Joe said: “The band slotted in seamlessly – I hardly noticed they were setting up. They kept the atmosphere going all night.
“The band were one of the top things that people have been talking about since the wedding.
“Everyone was so impressed with the range of songs they played. They had people on the dance floor from the very first to the very last song; which is exactly what we wanted!”
