The Northern Wedding Awards have crowned their winners, shining a spotlight on the best businesses in the wedding industry. We are thrilled to announce that Musique has been recognised as a highly commended entertainment provider!
Established in 2015, the Great Northern Wedding Awards attracts entrants from across a handful of counties, including Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Cumbria, Merseyside and North Yorkshire. This was the first awards held since the pandemic as host company Little White Books decided to take a brief hiatus to allow businesses to rebound.
With the industry flourishing once again, thousands of newly-weds were invited to cast their votes. Couples were encouraged to carefully consider the quality of their wedding suppliers and give scores for communication, approachability, ease of booking, performance and value for money.
On the 4th of June, our team had an absolute blast celebrating at the awards ceremony. We headed down to the beautiful Ashfield House to gather with the other finalists and raise a toast to the immense talent within the room. Throughout the afternoon, we feasted on a delicious spread of tapas street food, boogied to sets from Mr Wilson’s Second Liners and made use of the temporary tattoo station.
Emceed by DJ Ryan Smith, the winners were announced in twenty-one categories. From florists to hairstylists, photographers to venues, wedding suppliers of all varieties were honoured throughout the celebration.
Musique managing director, Jamie Turner said “we are delighted to be recognised for the work we are doing at weddings across the North of England. It’s important for the whole industry to take stock and recognise the leading work Great Northern suppliers are doing for the industry.”
