The Troubadears

About The Troubadears

The Troubadears are an acoustic duo perfect for your daytime and early evening wedding entertainment.

The Troubadears are an acoustic guitar & vocal wedding duo based in the North West, perfect for any special occasion. Combining over twenty years of dedicated solo performing, they came together to create a gorgeous and natural blend of voices. With tastefully arranged harmonies, classy yet easy-going performances with a clear sense of fun, this beautiful duo are the ideal soundtrack for both intimate moments like a wedding ceremony or first dance, and the celebratory sing-alongs to follow.

Combining classical training and a love for all things Americana, The Troubadears share a passion and accomplished skill for guitar finger-picking, and provide sumptuous instrumental backing to their vocals. Take a romantic journey through the work of classic songwriters in folk, rock, country and pop.

After years of mastering their own respective craft, performing at functions throughout the UK and beyond, these two wedding musicians have found a palpable musical chemistry that can’t be taught.

“The Troubadears are quite simply the best wedding artists you could hope for. Their voices & musicianship are incredible and the energy and emotion they put into the songs just makes you want to dance and sing along. Our wedding guests were up on their feet joining in and it was only 4pm! You couldn’t wish for two nicer people to have at your wedding, friendly smiles and just lovely people inside and out. Thanks to them our wedding was extra special!”

“The Troubadears were such a fantastic addition to our wedding. Both with beautiful voices and are amazing musicians. They had a great grasp of having the audience and what to play when. At some points playing something subtle and soft as background ambience and at others up beat singalongs getting the guests involved. They were friendly, kind and polite and were part of the family by the time they left!”
