An early 19th Century Cotton Mill rescued from decay and destruction and transformed into the most incredible and wholly unique wedding venue in the North West.
The Cotton Room at Holmes Mill is fully licensed for civil ceremonies and looks stunning set with reclaimed cinema seating. The venue can accommodate up to 150 guests for your civil ceremony & evening reception.
Contemporary daytime musicians set the drinks reception scene with great elegance – utilise the beautiful grand piano in the Bistro, Bar & Grill with our wedding pianist Paul. Or, for an Engine Room drinks reception, go for an acoustic singer like Laura J or Katie. Holmes Mill’s Engine Room was the perfect location for Laura’s live video (see below).
Holmes Mill’s Cotton Room is the ideal location for a fabulous wedding evening party, no matter if you’re going for a brilliant upbeat wedding band like The Misfits, or a DJ Live option like Desire. The festival style and industrial look lend itself to Mumford style folk bands like Midnight Hour, or an Indie Rock band like Threshold too.
