We think life is so much easier to navigate when you can see what’s ahead of you.
Sometimes it can be confusing and disorienting trying to work out processes and remembering which suppliers work in which ways. We pride ourselves on creating a simple and elegant process. Here’s our step-by-step guide to booking with Musique Agency – it’s a total doddle.
You come to us with your ideas – no matter what stage you’re at with your planning. Your brief might simply be ‘some live wedding music during the day’ or that you’d like to ‘hire wedding band for the night’. Might be full of ideas and have a good grasp of exactly what you want – right from the ceremony through to the evening party. All you have to do is give us a call or drop us an email with your thoughts. From there, we’ll help develop your ideas, add in our experience and expertise and work with you to find a match made in heaven.
Once we have a good idea of the scene you’d like to set, we’ll provide you with the costings. Our pricing is always fair and transparent. If you’d like to book multiple artists, we’ll look at how you may be able to utilise some of the same individuals across different parts of the day. By booking different artists at different parts of the day, you can create threads and themes, whilst keeping the energy high.
Once you’ve decided on exactly what you want, setting the booking in stone is strighforward. Firstly, we take a deposit and combine that with the booking agreement form – which takes a mere minute to fill in and can all be done electronically. This formalises your agreement with Musique and the acts you’d like to book. When the paperwork is done and the deposit is paid, we send you confirmation of booking and a payment schedule for your reference down the line.
Bookings can be made anytime from a few weeks before to a couple of years in advance of the big day. We recommend the latter – this avoids the disappointment of the artist you’d love to have at your special day being already booked. In this case, we know you’re not going to have every fine detail to hand at that stage. That’s why we have a further information request form, which is due anytime up to five weeks before the wedding day, for all the specifics – exact timings, special requests, and any other information we need to know about. The full balance is then due seven days before the event date.
At Musique, you’ll be looked after by a dedicated live music coordinator – so if you want to discuss any queries about your live wedding music, just give us a call or drop us an email anytime and we’ll be on hand to help you out. Planning a wedding is never a straightforward task – that’s why we aim to make things as straightforward and as stress-free for you as possible!
